This research is for adults aged 18 or older. It helps hyperlocal understand real-life connection, what gets in the way of getting together, and which product ideas are worth building.

Nothing leaves your device until you finish

While you answer, everything is saved only in this browser, so you can close the tab and pick up later on the same device. The optional name on the welcome screen never leaves your device. When you finish, your answers are sent to us once and stored with a random identifier, not your name. We also note roughly how long each question took and how far people get, without any answers, to find the questions that are tiring or confusing.

Contact details are separate and optional

If you ask to hear from us, your email and/or phone number (and city, for launch events) is stored apart from your answers, and only used for what you picked. You can press “Stop contacting me” on your result page on this device, or email us, at any time.

Who sees what

The hyperlocal team reviews answers in aggregate. The research spreadsheet contains answers but no contact details and none of your written-in text; the contact list contains no answers. Your shareable result card shows only your style, never your answers.
